Happy Halloween Darlings....Of course I was Lady Gaga....and was totally in character as well...how fun! I won the costume contest, ha! Willa and Olivia were so cute too, a little pirate and a little parrot! Overall it was a fantastic time and a great way to end the Fall in Bar Harbor.

August!?

I can not believe it is August already! The month of July flew by faster than I ever remember - that is scary. Between working in the real estate world, bartending at Side Street Cafe, cleaning a rental cottage, catering on a boat, and babysitting my nieces it is no wonder that time is flying. Making hay while the sun shines as my mother would say.....hopefully I'll be able to live off some of this hay during the winter!

As far as real estate goes, I recently sold a home to dear friends of mine and even though the deal was somewhat complicated I was so happy to have worked with them in buying their FIRST home! There are also some great new listings and a new pending I'm working on - keeping my fingers crossed!

High Point!

This has been a long time coming, about 5 years actually! Last week I sold two properties on one day totally $1,450,000 in sales!! After the last few years of frustration and personal hardship I am so proud that I have stuck it out and remained patient. I absolutely love my job and finally all the hardwork is paying off!! Both transactions were very involved and each of my clients were amazing to work with. In fact, the sellers of the Peck's Point property are so sweet I felt like they were dear old friends of mine - what a great thing!

This is going to be a great year!! I am in a totally different mindset than I was last year at this time - I used to think the saying "time heals...." was a complete lie but today I can say I believe it more than I thought I ever would.

I am so grateful to have so many amazing people in my life!

I was very fortunate to have recently gone to Berlin, Germany for a week. Now I have the travel itch and am hoping to travel more in the near future! Berlin was wonderful...the history, the culture, the architecture, the food, and the friendly people!

Spring is slowly SPRINGING

I just got back from a crazy vacation with my mom, sister and nieces (ages 1 and 3). Now I need ANOTHER vacation :-) We all had so much fun running around from beach to pool to playground...but Aunty is quite tired. It was great to see my cousin Ben and his wife Ashley & baby Brady as a surprise too! The first week in April was a great week to get away...we flew away as Bangor was getting 1 foot of fresh snow and came home to a balmy 45 degrees. However, today is 60 and sunny so I'm not complaining. While I was away I was reflecting on how my life has changed, for the better, in the last year. I'm so thankful to have such great friends and family. I also am so lucky to live, work and play on Mount Desert Island....something I reflected on for sure while at Hilton Head Island last week, a funny parallel.

While I was gone the real estate market was waking up too! I have a new pending listing, a great in-town Bar Harbor home with a lot of potential.

This weekend I'm looking forward to a girls weekend in Boston with some of the old besties....who knows what could happen. We're going to a baseball game & it is Marathon weekend....watch out!

As if I don't have enough packed in - I'm planning on going to Berlin for a week next month....stay tuned for more info on that!!!
